The Niagara men's soccer team rounded out its non-conference schedule Tuesday night with a tremendous road performance that ended in a draw against the Pittsburgh Panthers. Moving back into MAAC play, the Purple Eagles look to pick up their second win of the year on the road against the Manhattan Jaspers.

Last Time OutÂ
- At Pittsburgh, Niagara came out with a 1-1 draw. The Purple Eagles caught their non-conference opponent off guard, sustaining pressure late in the game with multiple chances to win.
- Trailing 1-0 in the 84th minute, a free kick from Ryan Myers was directed towards the net by Bautista Pedezert before Tim Magnusson finished for his first goal of the season.
- Niagara was outshot 3-2 in the overtime period, but neither goaltender surrendered a game-breaking goal.
- Colin Hanley played 110 minutes for the second consecutive game, denying six of seven shots on goal.

In the MAACÂ
- The goaltending tandem of Joel Gerberich and Hanley has compiled an average of 4.58 saves per game in 2015, good for second in the MAAC and 38th nationally.
- Niagara is fourth in the MAAC in total assists (14) and fifth in assists per game (1.14).
- With five goals on the season, Alex Dimitriu ranks second among all MAAC players in that category.
- Niagara is looking for its first MAAC win after road losses at Iona and Siena as well as a draw at home against Quinnipiac.

Across the Pitch: Manhattan Jaspers (1-6-1 overall, 1-2-0 MAAC)Â
- On Wednesday, Manhattan lost a close battle with MAAC foe Saint Peter's, where the Peacocks scored the decisive goal off a corner in the 105th minute.
- The Jaspers picked up their first win of the season on Sept. 30 in a 1-0 home decision over Fairfield.
- Niagara's last win over Manhattan came on Oct. 17, 2010, a 4-0 victory in Riverdale.
