NIAGARA UNIV., N.Y. – The Niagara Purple Eagles will have their third game of three straight home games on Monday, March 24 when they host non-conference foe Albany. The opening draw is scheduled for 2 p.m. at Niagara Field.

NIAGARA TIDBITS
• After its victory over St. Bonaventure in its last outing, Niagara climbed back to the .500 mark on the season (3-3).

Carrie-Jo Farrugia leads Niagara with 13 goals and 18 points and is one of five Purple Eagles in double figures entering the contest.
Maria Battista has 11 goals on the season, while
Erin Patenaude and
Hannah Barnett have each added 10 goals. Patenaude has also contributed seven assists for 17 points.

Carrie-Jo Farrugia pocketed a career-high seven points in last Thursday's 18-13 victory over St. Bonaventure, giving the Purple Eagles their second win over the Bonnies in program history.
• Farrugia scored four goals and added three assists in Niagara's best offensive showing to date with season-highs in goals (18) and assists (10).
Danielle Maio (one goal; three assists) and
Brittany Delano (three goals; one assist) each contributed four points on the game, while
Maria Battista (three goals) and
Erin Patenaude (two goals; one assist) also added to the scoreboard.
• All three Purple Eagle goalies had time in between the pipes, combining for 13 saves, including five from senior
Paige Sasser who played a majority of the contest (23 minutes).
Amanda Yavorek made her first start of the season, making three saves in 21 minutes, while
Andrea Francisco finished the contest with one save in the final 15 minutes.
ABOUT ALBANY
• The Great Danes comes to Niagara Field without a loss on the season, making it seven straight wins after defeating Hofstra, 10-3 on Saturday.
• Albany features a 40-point getter in Rachel Bowles who has 27 goals and 13 assists in seven games. Six other Great Danes have reached double-digits in points, including Ariana Parker (16-7-23) and Dakotah Savitscheff (17-2-19).
• Anna Berman has started in all seven games thus far in between the pipes, making 43 saves for a .506 save percentage and a 6.20 goals against average.
ALL-TIME AGAINST THE GREAT DANES
• The Purple Eagles will be looking for their first win in 10 meetings against the Great Danes in a series that dates back to May 5, 1996.
• Niagara and Albany met last season, with the Great Danes coming out with a 19-6 victory at Fallon Field.
• Brittany Delano led the team with two points (1-1-2), while goaltender Paige Sasser made seven saves on the game.
