TicketsThe Niagara Purple Eagles resume non-conference play against the Albany Great Danes on Tuesday, Dec. 30 at 7 p.m.
The Purple Eagles (1-8) continue their four-game homestand against in-state foe and two-time defending America East champions Albany (5-6) for their third-ever meeting and first since 2010.
NU had season-high outputs in points (69), field goals (27) and assists (15) in a 74-69 defeat to Arkansas State in its last game.

Tipoff Tidbits• Niagara's non-conference schedule is one of the toughest in the nation. The Purple Eagles' non-conference schedule is ranked sixth by ESPN Daily RPI, eighth by RPI Forecast (Live-RPI) and 13th by KenPom.com. Niagara's opponents combined record is 63-31.
• Wesley Myers has scored at least 11 points in the last four games. It is his longest double-figures streak in his career and the longest by a Purple Eagle this season.
• Niagara had five players – Rayvon Harris, Ramone Snowden, Emile Blackman, Wesley Myers and Dominique Reid - in double figures against Arkansas State for the first time since Feb. 7, 2014 against Iona.
• Ramone Snowden dished out a career-high seven assists against Arkansas State. The seven assists are the most since Tahjere McCall had seven versus Manhattan on Feb. 9, 2014.
• Myers set a career-high in 3-pointers with four triples at Buffalo on Dec. 19. His four 3-pointers are the most by a Purple Eagle this season.
• Redshirt sophomore Emile Blackman led all scorers with 21 points at St. John's on Dec. 2, which are the most by a Purple Eagle this season. Blackman leads the team in scoring with 12.1 ppg.
• Snowden recorded his second double-double of the season with 13 points and a game-high 12 rebounds at St. John's on Dec. 2. Snowden, who has already doubled his total from last season, ranks fourth in the MAAC in double-doubles.
• The Purple Eagles have committed the fewest fouls (183) in the MAAC.
• The Purple Eagles will be looking to avoid starting 0-4 at the Gallagher Center since losing four straight to begin their home schedule during the 2006-07 season.
• According to KenPom.com, Niagara is the
SIXTH youngest team in the nation. NU has 13 underclassmen on the roster.
On The CourtAlbany Great Danes (5-6, 0-0 America East)• UAlbany has won three straight games, including two against MAAC opponents (Siena and Fairfield).
• Three players are averaging in double figures, led by Peter Hooley (14.2 ppg). Sam Rowley leads the team in rebounding with 8.4 per game.
• The Great Danes rank 12th in the nation in free throw percentage (75.8).
• UAlbany has faced three MAAC teams this season, going 2-1 with wins over Siena and Fairfield and a loss to Quinnipiac.
Against the Great Danes (Niagara leads 2-1)• Niagara won the first two meetings between the programs. The Purple Eagles won 84-77 in Albany in Nov. 1999 and 74-66 at home in Nov. 2000.
• The Purple Eagles fell to the Great Danes, 75-65, on Nov. 27, 2010 in Detroit as part of the Legends Classic.
