In similar style, Cornell continued it's control into the second period with a wrist shot over Niagara goalie Adam Avramenko (Strathmore, Alb.) less than two minutes into play. Extending their lead to three, the Big Red added another during a power-play by Michael Kennedy midway through the second period.
Continuing its run into the third period, Cornell added an additional three markers, including one power-play goal, to end the game with a 6-0 loss for Niagara.
