NIAGARA UN., N.Y. -- Hoping to continue its winning ways, the Niagara University men’s basketball team (13-11, 7-5) begins its final road swing of the regular season with a stop in Jersey City, N.J., Friday for a 7 p.m. game against Saint Peter’s College (3-20, 1-12) in the Yanitelli Center.
The game will be broadcast live on Niagara University’s official sports website, www.PurpleEagles.com, and on WJJL (1440 AM).
The Purple Eagles won their second consecutive game with a 79-61 victory over cross-town rival Canisius College Feb. 4.
The Peacocks dropped their 15th-straight game, losing at Manhattan Tuesday, 58-51.
Friday’s game is the 62nd meeting between the two teams, and Niagara leads the all-time series, 37-24.
