NIAGARA UN., N.Y. -- Winners in six of its last eight games, the Niagara University men’s basketball team (7-8, 2-2) concludes a three-game home stand vs. Fairfield University (3-13, 1-3) Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the legendary Taps Gallagher Center.
The game will be broadcast live on WJJL (1440 AM) and seen on Niagara University’s official sports website, www.PurpleEagles.com.
The Purple Eagles had their three-game winning streak snapped Jan. 5, losing to first place Siena College, 92-81. The Stags dropped their third consecutive game, losing at Manhattan, 58-54, Jan. 6.
Tuesday’s game is the 49th meeting between the two teams, and Niagara leads the all-time series, 30-18.
