NIAGARA UN., N.Y. -- Looking to stay in the hunt for a fourth Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference title, the Niagara University men’s basketball team (7-7, 2-1) takes on first place Siena College (7-5, 3-0) Friday night at 7 p.m. in the legendary Taps Gallagher Center.

The game will be broadcast live across the Empire State on Time Warner Cable. Lou Paonessa and Mark Collins have the call. The game can also be heard on WJJL (1440 AM) and seen on Niagara University’s official sports website, www.PurpleEagles.com.

The Purple Eagles won their MAAC home opener Wednesday with a dominating 88-55 win over Saint Peter’s. Siena remained undefeated Wednesday with a 79-60 victory at Canisius.

Friday’s game is the 80th meeting between the two teams, and Siena leads the all-time series, 40-39.
