NIAGARA UN., N.Y. -- Coming off an exciting upset win and sporting a modest two-game winning streak, the Niagara University men’s basketball team (11-10, 5-4) meets Fairfield Univeresity (7-15, 5-5) today at 1:30 p.m. at the Arena at Harbor Yard in Bridgeport, Conn.

The game will be broadcast live on Niagara University’s official sports website, www.PurpleEagles.com, and tape delayed on WJJL (1440 AM) at 5 p.m.

The Purple Eagles enter tonight’s game on a winning note after upsetting Marist College at home Friday night, 83-75. The victory helped Niagara split the series with the Red Foxes.

The Stags have been one of the hottest teams of late, winning their fourth consecutive game with a 66-58 victory over Saint Peter’s Friday.

Today’s game is the 50th meeting between the two teams, and Niagara leads the all-time series, 31-18.
