NIAGARA UN., N.Y. -- It will have been just eight days since the first meeting, but the Niagara University men’s basketball team (10-10, 5-4) meets Marist College (15-5, 7-2) Friday at 7:30 p.m. in the McCann Center in hopes of a series split.
The game will be broadcast live on Niagara University’s official sports website, www.PurpleEagles.com, and on WJJL (1440 AM).
The Purple Eagles enter Friday’s game on a winning note after sweeping the series with Iona College with an 81-80 win Jan. 20.
The Red Foxes beat Saint Peter’s Tuesday, 67-58, to win their fifth game in the last six outings.
Friday’s game is the 21st meeting between the two teams, and Niagara leads the all-time series, 11-9.
