NIAGARA UN., N.Y. -- Sporting a 2-1 record vs. Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference opponents in the legendary Taps Gallagher Center, the Niagara University men’s basketball team (9-9, 4-3) looks to add to the record when it hosts Marist College (13-4, 5-1) Thursday at 7 p.m.

The game will be broadcast tape delay on Time Warner Cable, but live on Niagara University’s official sports website, www.PurpleEagles.com, and on WJJL (1440 AM).

The Purple Eagles, who average 82.4 points per game in MAAC outings, registered a come-from-behind 80-79 victory at Rider Jan. 14.

The Red Foxes enter the game as winners in five of their last six games, including an 84-75 overtime win at Siena Monday.

Thursday’s game is the 20th meeting between the two teams, and Niagara leads the all-time series, 11-8.
