NIAGARA UN., N.Y. -- For the second time this season, the Niagara University men’s basketball team (8-8, 1-3) will have its full complement of players when it begins a two-game road trip with a 7 p.m. stop in Reitz Arena at Loyola College (8-6, 4-1) Friday.
The game will be broadcast live on WJJL (1440 AM) and on Niagara University’s official sports website, www.PurpleEagles.com.
The Purple Eagles welcomed freshman sensation Tyrone Lewis back to the lineup in an 85-76 victory over Fairfield University Tuesday. It marked the first time this season that all 11 eligible players were active for the game.
Loyola enters the weekend with a three-game winning streak after beating Siena College, 94-87 in overtime, Tuesday.
Friday’s game is the 38th meeting between the two teams, and Niagara leads the all-time series, 24-13.
