Men's Basketball Meets Marist Saturday at 3 p.m.

NIAGARA UN., N.Y. -- Having won three of their last four games, "The Magnificent Seven" of the Niagara University men’s basketball team (9-13, 6-8) looks to continue its climb in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference standings when it hosts Marist College (15-7, 9-5) Saturday at 3 p.m. in the legendary Taps Gallagher Center.

The Purple Eagles, who are in a three-way tie for fifth place in the league with Siena College and Fairfield University, are coming off a 79-72 win vs. Canisius College Wednesday.

Marist enters the game as one of the hottest teams in the league having won 10 of its last 11 games, including the last two. On Wednesday, the Red Foxes defeated last place Rider University, 73-62.
