NIAGARA UN., N.Y. -- Fresh off a 67-61 victory over Holy Cross, the Niagara University men’s basketball team (5-7) closes the La Salle Explorer Invitational in Philadelphia, Pa., tonight with a 6 p.m. tip vs. the host Explorers.

The Purple Eagles look to create a two-game winning streak after their come-from-behind win over the Crusaders. La Salle on the other hand dropped its third consecutive game, falling to Delaware, 58-56.

Tonight’s game is the 47th meeting between the two teams, and La Salle leads the all-time series, 30-16.
