NIAGARA UN., N.Y. -- Sporting its first winning streak of the season, the Niagara University men’s basketball team (3-6) continues its five-game road swing with a stop in Mount Pleasant, Mich., to take on Central Michigan (4-5) at 2 p.m. Saturday in Rose Arena.

The Purple Eagles improved to 1-1 in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference with a convincing 79-58 victory over Iona College Tuesday.

Central Michigan enters the game on a winning note after beating Cleveland State, 78-76 in double overtime, Sunday to end a three-game losing streak.

Saturday’s game is the first meeting between the two teams.
