NIAGARA UN., N.Y. -- Coming off its first win of the season, the Niagara University men’s basketball team (1-3) continues its three-game road trip Saturday with a 7 p.m. game at Buffalo in Alumni Arena.

The Purple Eagles snapped a four-game losing streak with a 74-63 win over Little Three rival St. Bonaventure on Wednesday. It was the squad’s first road win since beating Manhattan Feb. 3, 2006.

Buffalo brings a modest two-game winning streak into the weekend contest after beating Temple 64-62 Monday.

Wednesday’s game is the 84th meeting between the two teams, and Niagara leads, 56-27.
