NIAGARA UN., N.Y. -- After over a month away from the legendary Taps Gallagher Center, the Niagara University men’s basketball team (3-9, 0-4) returns home Thursday when it hosts Fairfield University (4-8, 2-2) at 7 p.m.
The Purple Eagles are on the hunt. They are looking for their first Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference win, an end to a three-game losing streak and an end to a four-game home losing streak.
Fairfield will be looking for its third consecutive road win after knocking off Rider, 85-81, on Tuesday.
