Men's Basketball Hosts Siena Tonight

NIAGARA UN., N.Y. --  The Niagara University men’s basketball team (14-6, 9-3) concludes a three-game home stand when its hosts Siena College (4-18, 2-9) tonight at 7 p.m. in the legendary Taps Gallagher Center.

The Purple Eagles remain one half game out of first place in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference standings after they defeated Marist, 79-68, on Feb. 5.

Niagara will be protecting a pair of winning streaks tonight. It has won its last five outings and its 15-game home winning streak is the 10th longest in the country

Siena has lost nine of its last 10 games, including a 65-57 loss at Canisius on Feb. 5.

The game will be televised tape delay by Adelphia Cable on cable Channel 13. It can also be heard live on the Niagara Athletic Department’s official web site at www.PurpleEagles.com.
