NIAGARA UN., N.Y. -- The Niagara University men’s basketball team (2-0) returns to the road to play one of its oldest rivals when it travels to Jamaica, N.Y., to take on St. John’s University (2-0) at 3 p.m. Saturday.

The game can be heard live on WJJL (1440 AM) and on Niagara University’s official sports website, www.PurpleEagles.com.

Both the Purple Eagles and the Red Storm enter the game undefeated. Niagara won its 18th-straight home game, dating to last season, with a high-scoring 101-88 win over St. Bonaventure on Monday. St. John’s beat St. Francis (N.Y.), 64-50, on Tuesday.

The Red Storm lead the all-time series, 70-25.
