NIAGARA UN., N.Y. --  The Niagara University men’s basketball team (11-6, 6-3) plays its final road game of January when it meets Siena College (3-15, 1-6) for the first time this season on Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Pepsi Center in Albany.

The Purple Eagles enter the game looking to extend their modest two-game winning streak and snap a three-game road losing streak.

Niagara ended a seven-game losing streak to Manhattan in its last outing. The Purple Eagles prevailed 75-73 in overtime.

Siena looks to snap a three-game losing streak and win its second home game of the season Thursday.

The Saints dropped their sixth Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference game when they lost at Saint Peter’s, 62-59, Monday.

The contest can seen live on Time Warner Cable in the Albany area, and also be heard live on the Niagara Athletic Department’s official web site at www.PurpleEagles.com.
