NIAGARA UN., N.Y. -- The Niagara University men’s basketball team (17-8, 11-5) makes its final regular-season road trip of the season when it travels to Poughkeepsie for a 7:30 p.m. game Thursday vs. Marist (6-19, 4-12).
The Purple Eagles enter the contest on a modest two-game winning streak after defeating Saint Peter’s, 91-82, Feb. 21.
Marist will be looking to snap a two-game losing streak. The Red Foxes faltered Feb. 21 when they lost 71-65 at Siena.
Niagara leads the all-time series with Marist, 8-6, and the Purple Eagles have a three-game winning streak in the series.
