NIAGARA UN., N.Y. -- The Niagara University men’s basketball team (16-8, 10-5) closes its two-game home stand today with an important outing against second place Saint Peter’s (15-9, 11-4). The team’s tip at 3 p.m. in the Gallagher Center.
The Purple Eagles enter the contest on a winning note after sneaking by Loyola, 69-62, Thursday.
Saint Peter’s snapped a two-game losing streak with a commanding 103-89 victory over Canisius Thursday.
Niagara leads the all-time series with Saint Peter’s, 33-22, and the Purple Eagles have a nine-game winning streak in the series.
