NIAGARA UN., N.Y. -- The Niagara University men’s basketball team (5-2) begins a three-game road swing Saturday when it meets Big Four rival Buffalo (4-2) in the second game of a doubleheader at Alumni Arena. Tip is slated for 7 p.m.
The Purple Eagles extended their home winning streak to eight games, with a 96-60 victory over Yale Wednesday.
Senior David Brooks led three players in double figures with a game-high 25 points.
Buffalo, winners in four of its last five games, got back into the win column with a 70-63 overtime victory at Elon on Tuesday.
