NIAGARA UN., N.Y. -- The Niagara University men’s basketball team (10-5, 4-2) looks to stay in the hunt for the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference regular-season title when it hosts a pair of key games this weekend in a two-game homestand.

The Purple Eagles host Siena Friday at 7 p.m. in the Gallagher Center. Niagara enters the Siena contest two games back from first place Manhattan in the MAAC race. The Purple Eagles lost just their second road game of the season when they fell to Rider in overtime, 93-90, Jan. 18.
