NIAGARA UN., N.Y. -- The Niagara University men’s basketball team (8-4, 2-1) will try a snap a two-game losing streak on its home court when it hosts Iona (4-8, 2-1) today at 1 p.m. in the Gallagher Center.
The Purple Eagles lost their first Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference game of the season when they fell 90-81 to visiting Manhattan Friday night in the Gallagher Center.
Iona enters the game on a winning note. The Gaels won their second MAAC game of the season with a 74-54 victory vs. Marist Wednesday in New Rochelle, N.Y.
Niagara and Iona meet for the 49th time and the Gaels have a 26-22 lead in the series.
