Buffalo, N.Y. - Niagara Women's Soccer fell to the University at Buffalo, 2-0 at Broadview Stadium in Buffalo, N.Y.
Buffalo opens the season 1-0-0 as Niagara goes to 0-1-0 in the young season.
The Bulls recorded the first goal of the contest in the 17th minute of action as Eva Blatz scored with assisted by Mae Hunt.
Buffalo recorded their second goal of the contest in the first half at the 26th minute mark as Sofia Mastracci scored from Ella McDonnald and Emma Patti.
In the 37th minute of action,
Izzy Schmidt recorded a shot on goal that was fought off by the Bulls keeper Lexie Thompson to keep the game at 2-0 in favor of Buffalo.
Julia Poissant recorded three saves for the Purple Eagles.
