Niagara found themselves up 1-0 but three unanswered by Marist prevailed them past the Purple Eagles 3-1 at Niagara Field in Niagara University N.Y.
Baillie Colling kicked off the scoring for the Purple Eagles in the 26th minute of action. Colling from distance put the ball over all the Red Foxes defenders betting the keeper and going bar down for her third tally in two games.
Marist responded in 26th minute tying the match at one. The Red Foxes saw their first lead of the match in the 31st minute. In the 67th minute Marist added to their one goal led to make the match 3-1.
Niagara attempted to come back into the contest forcing three shots in the second half but eventually the comeback fell short.
