Niagara Sweeps Siena in Straight Sets

NIAGARA UNIVERSITY, N.Y. — Niagara volleyball defeated Siena 3-0 (25-18, 26-24, 25-23) at the Gallagher Center on Friday night, improving their MAAC conference record to 8-2.

SET ONE: NIAGARA 25, SIENA 18
Liana Tolliver paced the offense with five kills, while Kinga Wronska added four.
Noel Perkins made an immediate impact off the bench, delivering three service aces during a crucial late-set run that helped Niagara pull away.
Kylie Blessing distributed seven assists, and the Purple Eagles capitalized on Siena errors to take a commanding 1-0 match lead.

SET TWO: NIAGARA 26, SIENA 24
Niagara overcame a competitive second set that featured six ties and three lead changes.
Sydney Wilkes led the charge with five kills, while Tolliver and Wronska each added four.
The Purple Eagles hit .275 with 19 kills in the frame. Despite trailing 22-15 late in the set, Niagara stormed back with an 11-2 run.
Payton Lee delivered the set-clinching kill on an assist from Blessing. The comeback showcased Niagara's resilience and gave them a 2-0 advantage.

SET THREE: NIAGARA 25, SIENA 23
Wilkes contributed five kills in the decisive set, while Wronska and Tolliver each added four.
The set featured 10 ties as both teams traded points throughout. Lizzie Kraft came up clutch at the end, delivering a service ace that sealed the 25-23 victory and completed the sweep.
Blessing finished with eight assists in the set, while Mia Schaefer provided steady defensive play from the back row.
