NIAGARA UNIVERSITY, NY – Niagara softball returns to the field Thursday afternoon when it travels to Olean, N.Y. to take on the St. Bonaventure Bonnies.

• The Purple Eagles last played on March 16 when it dropped its game's against Lehigh and USF.

Maggie Kellner leads NU with a .400 batting average (14-for-35). Seven of her hits have gone for extra bases as the sophomore currently leads the nation in doubles per game.

Kelsey Harrigan and
Samantha Hare lead NU with nine RBI through 11 games. Hare also leads the Purple and White with three home runs.
• As a team, NU is hitting .293 and an on-base percentage of .363. A total of 12 Purple Eagles have an on-base percentage over .300 and six have a batting average batting average over .300.

Riley Crum has a team-best 1.50 ERA. The junior has allowed 13 hits in 14.0 innings of work, allowing four runs, three of which have been earned.
• Maddi Hickingbottom has a team-best 33 stirkeouts in 22.2 innings of work. The transfer through a complete game against Merrimack on March 13.

Cara Leone also has 22.2 innings of work this season with a majority of her work coming in relief. The junior is second on the team with a 4.32 ERA.
