Purple Eagles Fall To Canisius, Binghamton

BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Purple Eagles women's swimming and diving team dropped a tri-meet to Canisius and Binghamton on Saturday. NU fell to the Griffs, 201.00-80.00, and to the Bearcats, 216.50-77.50.

Meet Notes

Moana Houde-Camirand won the 200 free with a time of 1:57.30. She placed second in the 100 fly with a time of 59.39.
Zoe Gavin placed first in the 200 fly with a time of 2:12.50.
Yvonne Schere placed third in the 200 free, finishing the event in 2:00.34. She placed fourth in the 50 free with a time of 25.25 and third in the 100 free with a time of 54.87.
The relay team of Isabella DeSimone, Kayla Kreger, Houde-Camirand and Lauren Hume placed fourth in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:52.80.
Kreger placed second in the 200 breast (2:30.99) and earned a third place finish in the 100 breast with a time of 1:11.03.
DeSimone placed fifth in the 100 IM. She finished the event in 1:04.32.
The relay team of Delaney LaBue, Hume, Kreger and Schere earned a third-place finish in the 200 free relay with a time of 1:42.43.
