Niagara Defeated By Canisius and Binghamton

BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Niagara men's swimming and diving team fell to Canisius and Binghamton on Saturday. The Purple Eagles fell to the Griffs, 1890.00-109.00, and to the Bearcats, 232-.00-63.00.

Meet Notes

Kevin Vu won the 50 free with a time of 21.14. He also won the 100 fly with a time of 50.55. Vu earned a second place finish in the 100 IM with a time of 53.82.
Noah Brooks placed third in the 200 back. He swam the event in 2:00.95.
The relay team of Gio Germano, Sam Schwabauer, Dalton Stier and Kevin Vu placed fourth in the 200 medley relay with a finals time of 1:38.56.
Dalton Stier (1:48.73), Noah Brooks (1:50.08) and Payton LaBue (1:50.75) placed fifth, sixth and seventh in the 200 free, respectively.
Stier placed fourth in the 500 free (4:56.53).
Schwabauer earned a fourth-place finish in the 100 breast with a time of 1:01.96. He also placed fourth in the 200 breast with a time of 2:15.41.
Graeme Staples placed fifth in the 200 fly (2:05.30).
Marco Wilson placed fourth in the 1-meter dive with a score of 181.60 and in the 3-meter dive with a score of 182.10.
The relay team of Schwabauer, Germano, TyQuann Walker and Brooks placed third in the 200 free relay (1:29.88).
