EDISON, N.J. – The Purple Eagles softball team has announced its schedule for the 2021 season.

Niagara opens the season with a pair of doubleheaders at Rider March 27 and 28. The team heads to Fairfield for four games April 2 and 3.

The Purple Eagles open their home schedule April 10 and 11 with a set of doubleheaders versus Quinnipiac.

Niagara hits the road again for four games at Marist April 13 and 14.

The Purple Eagles begin a 12-game home stand April 17 and 18 when they host the Manhattan Jaspers. Niagara hosts Siena for two doubleheaders April 20 and 21 and Monmouth for a pair of doubleheaders April 24 and 25.

Niagara plays a pair of games against crosstown rival Canisius on April 28 and then hits the road for a four-game series at Saint Peter's May 1 and 2.

The Purple Eagles host Canisius for another Battle of the Bridge matchup on May 5, before closing out the season with a four-game home series versus Iona May 7 and 8.

The MAAC Championships will be held May 14-16.
