BUFFALO, N.Y. –
Kobi Nwandu has been named Big 4 Men's Basketball Player of the Week announced on Tuesday.
Nwandu averaged a team-high 19 points while shooting 41 percent from the field and 57 percent from the 3-point line. He also averaged 2.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists in the two-game series at Quinnipiac on January 22-23.
Nwandu posted a game-high 18 points while chipping in four rebounds, two assists, and two steals in Niagara's 59-56 win on January 22. He netted 20 points for his second 20-point game this season and dished out a team-high three assists in the January 23 meeting.
