• The Purple Eagles opened their MAAC schedule with a 75-66 victory over the Fairfield Stags on January 3. Niagara shot a season-high 45 percent from 3s and tied a season-high in assists with 16.
• The Purple Eagles are looking to start conference play 2-0 for the first time since the 2009-10 season.
• NU is 2-1 at home this season and is in search of its third straight home which would be the longest since winning three straight in December 2018.
