Purple Eagles Defeated By St. Bonaventure

NIAGARA UNIV., N.Y. – The men's swimming and diving team fell to St. Bonaventure, 169-53, in the final meet of the regular season on Friday. Prior to the meet, the Purple Eagles honored graduating seniors Edgar Melchor and Kevin Verdejo.

Meet Notes

Melchor won the 100 breast, finishing the event in 59.52. He placed second in the 100 free with a time of 48.55.
The relay team of Dalton Stier, Tyler Prosser, Joshua Bartel and Nicholas Stoll placed first in the 200 free relay with a time of 1:33.02.
Stier took third place in the 200 free with a time of 1:49.68.
Noah Brooks finished third in the 200 IM with a time of 2:02.42 and third in the 500 free with a time of 4:58.49.
Bartel (56.71) finished fourth in the 100 back and Tyler Prosser (58.43) finished fifth.
