   The Niagara Purple Eagles will visit the Saint Peter's Peacocks on Sunday, January 26 at 2 p.m. to wrap up their Garden State road trip.
 
Scene Setter
•  The Purple Eagles entered their New Jersey road swing on a three-game win streak with victories over Iona, Rider, and Siena by a combined four points.
•  Niagara saw its win streak come to an end against the Monmouth Hawks on January 24.
•  The Purple Eagles are looking to snap a three-game losing streak to the Peacocks which is the longest since dropping four straight from 2009-11.
•  NU and Saint Peter's are tied for the league-high honors in 3-point field goal percentage (.362).
 
Tipoff Tidbits
•  The Purple Eagles lead all MAAC teams in turnover margin (3.3), turnovers per game (10.7), and fewest turnovers (192).  NU ranks 10th in the nation in fewest turnovers and in turnovers per game.
•  Niagara is first in the MAAC in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.1) and had a positive assist-to-turnover ratio in 12 straight games from December 1 to January 19.
•  Marcus Hammond scored a career-high 36 points to lead all scorers at Quinnipiac on January 10. Hammond's 36 points are the most by a Purple Eagle in two seasons and are tied for the most by a MAAC player this season.
•  Marcus Hammond has scored in double figures in seven straight games, including three 20-point games (Quinnipiac, Iona, and Monmouth).
•  NU dished out a season-high 19 assists and had a season-low six turnovers in the win versus Rider on January 17.
•  Niagara is second in the MAAC in free throw percentage (.752) which is the highest percentage since the 2004-05 season (.760).  
•  James Towns is 13 points away from reaching the 1,000-point threshold.
•  Marcus Hammond is second in the MAAC in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.3).
•  NU is shooting a MAAC-leading 43.9 percent from 3-point range in conference games.
•  Marcus Hammond is averaging 18.3 points in league games which are second.
•  Marcus Hammond recorded his first career double-double with a team-high 21 points and a career-high 10 rebounds at Monmouth. Hammond joins Raheem Solomon and Greg Kuakumensah, who has three double-doubles, as Purple Eagles with a double-double this season.
•  Raheem Solomon is shooting a MAAC-best 58.3 percent (14-for-24) from 3-point range in MAAC games.
•  Nicholas Kratholm had a career-night at Monmouth. He set career-highs in points with 11 and in rebounds with eight while also blocking a game-high three shots to set a new career-high for blocks.

Saint Peter's Peacocks (6-10, 3-4 MAAC)
•  The Peacocks have dropped four of their last five contests, including a defeat at Rider on January 24.
•  Saint Peter's leads the MAAC in blocks per game (4.3) with KC Ndefo averaging a league-best 2.7 blocks per game which are 17th in the nation.
•  Two Peacocks - Matthew Lee (48.7 percent) and Doug Edert (48.0 percnet) - rank among the conference leaders in 3-point field goal percentage.
•  Saint Peter's is allowing a MAAC-leading 61.3 points per game in league contests.
 
Against The Peacocks (Niagara Leads 51-35)
•  Eight of the last 12 matchups between the two programs have been decided by six points or less.
