The No. 3 seed Niagara Purple Eagles start their quest for a MAAC championship when they play the sixth-seeded Fairfield Stags in the 2018 MAAC Tournament Quarterfinals on Saturday, March 3 at 7 p.m.

•  Niagara finished the regular season with the regular season with 19 wins, including 12 conference, and with nine home wins. All are the most in five seasons.
•  Niagara's 10 true road wins lead the MAAC and ties a school record in the modern-era set in the 2008-09 season.
•  The Purple Eagles are 12-4 in their last 16 games, including a five-game win streak from January 5-18, and a four-game win streak from February 4-16.
•  The Purple Eagles have faced Fairfield four times in the MAAC Tournament, including in their first-ever MAAC Tournament game in 1990. Niagara is 1-3 against the Stags with its lone win coming in the 2006 MAAC Tournament Quarterfinals.

•  Kahlil Dukes was tabbed as MAAC Co-Player of the Year.
•  Kahlil Dukes and Matt Scott were both selected to the All-MAAC Teams. Dukes was the only unanimous selection to the All-MAAC First Team, while Scott was named to the All-MAAC Second Team.
•  The Purple Eagles LEAD the MAAC in points per game (84.1), total blocks (138), blocks per game (4.5), total rebounds (1,209), defensive rebounds per game (27.1) free throws made (556) and in fewest turnovers per game (11.4).
• Matt Scott is seventh on the NU all-time scoring list with 1,719 points and is 10 points behind Tremmel Darden ('04) for sixth. Scott ranks 29th among active scorers in NCAA Division I.
•  Kahlil Dukes led all scorers with a career-high 37 points at Monmouth on February 4. The 37 points are the most by a Purple Eagle since Antoine Mason's 38 points against Marist on March 6, 2014.
•  Marvin Prochet registered his eighth double-double of the season with 14 points and a game-high 10 rebounds against Marist on February 23. Prochet has averaged 15.4 points and 9.0 rebounds and has three double-doubles in the last five games.
•  Kahlil Dukes LEADS the conference in free throw percentage (.904) and in total 3-pointers made (92), and is second in 3-pointers per game (2.9). Dukes is fifth in the NCAA in career active free throw percentage (.907).
• Marvin Prochet LEADS the conference in rebounds per game (7.8) and in defensive rebounds per game (5.8). Prochet's 10 10-rebound games LEAD the MAAC.
• Kahlil Dukes led all scorers with 26 points versus Marist on February 23 for his 21st 20-point game of the season, which LEADS the MAAC and ranks sixth in the NCAA.

•  Fairfield has won five straight games, including defeating Marist in the MAAC Tournament First Round on March 1, and is 8-2 in its last 10 games.
•  Tyler Nelson was named to the All-MAAC First Team after leading the MAAC in scoring at 21.8 points per game.
   
Against the Stags (Niagara Leads 41-32)
•  Niagara snapped a five-game losing streak in the series with a 95-83 win on February 10.
•  13 of the last 18 meetings have been decided by eight points or less.
