Game Recap
- Quinnipiac got on the board quickly in the first half, scoring in the 11th minute to take a 1-0 lead over the Purple Eagles.
- In the 12th minute, Niagara had one of its best chances of the game. Eva Bachmann took a penalty kick, but it was saved by the Bobcats' keeper.
- The Bobcats scored again in the 28th and 35th minutes and had a 3-0 lead going into halftime.
- Quinnipiac scored quickly in the second half, poking a shot past Locas in the 46th minute to extend its lead, 4-0.
- Niagara shored up on defense and held the Bobcats scoreless for the remainder of the game but, despite trying to create chances on offense, the Purple Eagles could not overcome the Bobcats' lead.
Inside the Numbers
- Bachmann and Hailey Bicknell led the Purple Eagles with three shots each and Bachmann had a team-high three shots on goal.
- Locas' nine saves were one short of her career-high.
