Game Recap
- In the ninth minute of the game, the Red Foxes scored to take a 1-0 lead. The Purple Eagles answered in the 40th minute with a goal from Connor, who was assisted by Guevara, to tie things up, 1-1.
- Marist struck quickly in the second half, scoring in the 59th minute to once again take the lead, 2-1.
- Niagara held the Red Foxes off for the remainder of the game and, though the Purple Eagles created chances for themselves on offense, they were not able to overcome Marist's lead.
Inside the Numbers
- Connor, Eva Bachmann and Alexis Horwedel led the Purple Eagles with two shots each. They each had one of Niagara's three shots on goal.
- Van Nuland recorded four saves against the Red Foxes.
