Volleyball Takes Winning Streak On The Road This Weekend

The Niagara volleyball team will travel to New Jersey this weekend to take on the Saint Peter's Peacocks on Saturday and the Rider Broncs on Sunday.

Purple Points
  • Niagara is currently on a four-match winning streak, logging in six wins of its last seven matches.
  • The Purple Eagles are coming off a win against archrival Canisius, in which they beat the Golden Griffins 3-0 on the match.
  • In the win against Canisius, Niagara set a season-high .405 hitting percentage, giving them their ninth win in the last 11 meetings with the Golden Griffins, including three straight.
  • Rylee Hunt continued her streak, in which she now holds 20 straight matches with double-digit digs.

  • Alexis Gray is 14 service aces behind Tammy Greek for second all-time in service aces, and senior Alex Stone is 35 blocks away from tying Greek second all-time in total blocks.

  • The Purple Eagles continue to hold their national spot, ranking seventh in service aces (135), with junior Alexis Gray tied for eighth in the NCAA in service aces (36).
