Prior to Niagara
May comes to Niagara with two years of collegiate volleyball experience. May spent the 2015 season at Cypress Community College in Cypress, Calif. where she was named the Orange Empire Conference Co-MVP. She had 416 kills, 4.21 kills per set, 1.20 digs per set and her .304 attacking percentage in 29 matches for the Cypress Chargers. She ended her season ranked 4th all-time in single season kills and was named to the first team All-Southern California. She was tabbed Cypress College Athlete of the Week twice, was named the Cerritos College tournament MVP, and named to the San Diego City College Tournament All-Tournament Team. May spent her freshman season at Cal Poly Pomona, an NCAA Division II program, where she started in 11 out of 14 matches and averaged 1.69 kills per set and 1.82 points per set. She attended Los Alamitos High School, where she was teammate with Rylee Hunt, and helped Los Alamitos capture the CIF Southern Section 1AA and Southern California Regional championships. May earned second team All-Sunset League as a senior. May was named to the honor roll in all four years in high school, was a scholar-athlete award recipient and was named to the Dean's List at Cal Poly.
