After a weekend home stand, Niagara will try to build on its two-game win streak as the Purple Eagles start their final road trip of the season. 

• Niagara swept Saint Peter's on Sunday, April 26 by a score of 4-3 in extra innings in game one and 7-6 in game two.
• Sophomore Sarah March had her best two game set of the season against Saint Peter's, she went 5-6 with 4 RBIs, including the game winner in Game 1.
• Niagara picked up its second win of the season on April 19th with a 2-1 game one win over Siena.
• The Purple Eagles picked up their first win of the season topping Fairfield, 7-1, in game two of the doubleheader on March 27.   
• Senior Desarea Maldonado leads the team with a .323 average, two home runs and 14 runs batted in.
• Senior Katie Gruarin has two round trippers of her own, and leads the team with 14 runs scored.
• Junior Sydney Smyers leads the team with 19 starts and 124.0 innings pitched, while Taylor Grieger leads the team with three wins.
• Sydney Smyers was named MAAC Pitcher of the Week on Feb. 10 for her performance at the Cleveland State Dome Tournament from Feb. 6-7.
• Freshman Sarah Trifoso was named MAAC Rookie of the Week on Feb. 10 with a .300 batting average and .364 on base percentage in the first weekend of play at the CSU Dome Tournament.

• Canisius split a double header against Manhattan Sunday, and are 3-2 in their last ten.
• The Griff's are 7-3 in the last ten against Niagara, splitting last season's series.
• Offensively Canisius has hit .308 this season with 18 home runs and 198 total runs scored, being led by Jessica Berzins who is hitting .422.
• In the circle Canisius have 3.80 ERA, allowing 157 runs on 268 hits.
