After a mid-week road trip to little-3 rival St. Bonaventure, Niagara returns home to play MAAC opponents Manhattan, and Saint Peter's this weekend.

Purple Eagles 101 (2-30, 2-8 MAAC)

• Niagara has split the last ten against the Jaspers, and are 8-2 in the last ten against Saint Peter's
• Niagara picked up their second win of the season on April 19^th with a 2-1 win over Siena.
• The Purple Eagles picked up their first win of the season topping Fairfield, 7-1, in game two of the doubleheader on March 27. 
• NU dropped all four games in its home opening weekend versus Marist and Quinnipiac.
• Senior Desarea Maldonado leads the team with a .365 average, two home runs and 14 runs batted in.
• Senior Katie Gruarin has two round trippers of her own, and leads the team with 13 runs scored.
• Junior Sydney Smyers leads the team with 17 starts and 110.0 innings pitched.
• Sydney Smyers was named MAAC Pitcher of the Week on Feb. 10 for her performance at the Cleveland State Dome Tournament from Feb. 6-7.
• Freshman Sarah Trifoso was named MAAC Rookie of the Week on Feb. 10 with a .300 batting average and .364 on base percentage in the first weekend of play at the CSU Dome Tournament.

On the Field: Manhattan Jaspers (21-12, 10-2 MAAC)

• Manhattan is 3-2 in their last five games and are atop the MAAC.
• Offensively the Jaspers has hit .276 this season with 36 home runs and 177 total runs scored, being led by Elena Bowman who has 13hrs and 33rbi.
• In the circle Manhattan have 3.30 ERA, allowing 123 runs on 223 hits.

On the Field: Saint Peter's Peacocks (2-32, 1-13 MAAC)

• Currently on a three game losing streak, with their last win coming against Rider on April 19th by a score of 12-8
• At the plate the Peacock's are hitting .251 with an on-base percentage of .321
• In the circle they have a team ERA of 7.49, striking out just under three per game
