The Niagara Purple Eagles head to Athens, Ohio to play against the Ohio Bobcats on Saturday at 5 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m.

Purple Eagles 101:

• Niagara dropped all 10 games at the Rebel Spring Games in central Florida from March 9-14.
• Senior Katelyn Guarin leads the team with a .327 batting average and has two home runs as the only Purple Eagle with a homer this season.
• Guarin is in the top ten of seven statistical categories in the MAAC, including third with eight runs scored and second with 16 hits and 24 total bases.
• Freshman Taylor Moody leads the team with five RBIs on the season with three players tied for second with four RBIs.
• Junior Sydney Smyers was named MAAC Pitcher of the Week on Feb. 10 for her performance at the Cleveland State Dome Tournament from Feb. 6-7.
• Freshman Sarah Trifoso was named MAAC Rookie of the Week on Feb. 10with a .300 batting average and .364 on base percentage in the first weekend of play at the CSU Dome Tournament.
• Smyers leads the MAAC with 54.0 innings pitched and eight games started.
