The Niagara Purple Eagles open their season in Cleveland, Ohio to participate in the Cleveland State Dome Tournament from Friday, Feb. 6 to Sunday, Feb. 8. NU will face Cleveland St, Toledo, Bowling Green and Robert Morris.
Purple Eagles 101:- Niagara finished the 2014 season 18-30 overall, in Larry Puzan's first full season as head coach.
- Niagara finished seventh in the MAAC with a 8-12 conference record in 2014.
- The Purple Eagles return 12 players from 2014 along with nine newcomers to the team
- Sophomore Bridget Hogan, an All-MAAC Second Team selection, led the team .313 batting average, and started all 48 games as a freshman.
- The Purple Eagles were picked ninth in the 2015 MAAC Preseason Poll.
