• After falling to Vermont on Saturday, the Purple Eagles pulled out a dramatic win over North Carolina A&T in the consolation game. Niagara scored seven points in the final 17 seconds to cap 73-72 comeback win.

Frenetic Finish • The Purple Eagles scored seven unanswered points in the final 17 seconds to pull out a thrilling 73-72 win over the North Carolina A&T Aggies in the 2015 Hall of Fame Tip-Off Tournament Springfield Bracket consolation game on Nov. 22.
• Niagara had possession trailing 72-66 with 35 seconds remaining to start its rally. An
Emile Blackman layup cut the lead to 72-68 with 17 seconds on the clock. Niagara then forced a five-second call on the ensuing inbound to get the ball back.

Justin Satchell under the basket, who scored a layup while being fouled and he converted the 3-point play at the free-throw line to bring NU within a point trailing 72-71.
• The defense made another stop on the next possession as A&T's Sam Hunt stepped out of bounds in the backcourt with nine seconds remaining.
• On NU's final possession, Scott recorded his career-high seventh assist when he found
Marvin Prochet on the block and the freshman scored over a defender while being fouled to put the Purple Eagles ahead, 73-72, with two seconds remaining.
• Prochet intentionally missed the free throw which didn't allow A&T (0-5) to get off a shot as time expired.Â

On The CourtHartford Hawks (2-2/0-0 America East)• Hartford will play its first home game of the season after a four-game road trip.
• The Hawks rallied to defeat Saint Peter's, 67-66, in their last game to even their record to 2-2. Hartford defeated Central Connecitcut in the season opener.
• Justin Graham leads the team in scoring with 14.8 per game, while Pancake Thomas chips in with 13.5 points per game along with a team-leading 6.0 rebounds per game.

Against the Hawks (Niagara leads, 7-6)• The Purple Eagles have won the last three of the last four meetings against the Hawks.
• Niagara had its three-game winning streak in the series snapped in last season's meeting which was the Purple Eagles' home opener.

Scott Earns MAAC Player of the Week Honors• Sophomore guard
Matt Scott was named MAAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week on November 23.            Â
• Scott led the Purple Eagles in scoring with 17.3 points per game, in rebounding with 7.7 per game, in assists with 5.0 per game, in steals with 3.0 per game, and in free throws made with 6.3 per game.
• He tied a career-high with 23 points and grabbed in career-high 10 rebounds en route to picking up his first career double-double against Brown.
Against Vermont, Scott scored 18 points to share team-high honors, and had a team-high seven rebounds to lead the team in scoring and rebounding for the fourth straight game.
• In the Purple Eagles' comeback win over North Carolina A&T in the Hall of Fame Tip-Off Tournament Springfield Bracket Consolation game on Sunday, Scott scored 11 points, had a game and career-high five steals and had a career-high seven assists with the final one leading to the game-winning basket with two seconds remaining in the game.
