TicketsThe Niagara Purple Eagles begin their 67th season playing on the Frank and Barbara Layden Court at the 'Taps' Gallagher Center on Wednesday when they host the Brown Bears in their home opener at 7 p.m.

Tipoff Tidbits• The Purple Eagles opened the season on the road with two contests as part of the Hall of Fame Tip-Off Tournament, falling to Old Dominion and Saint Joseph's.
• Five Purple Eagles made debut in the season opener –
Marvin Prochet,
Justin Satchell,
Chris Barton, Maurice Taylor, Jr.,
Dominic Robb. Two more Purple Eagles made their debuts at Saint Joseph's -
Ali Tew and
Romero Collier.
• The Purple Eagles have a +3.5 rebounding margin through the first two games this season. NU outrebounded Old Dominion (38-37) and Saint Joseph's (45-40).
• Niagara is 6-4 in its last 10 home openers, including winning three of its last four home openers.
• Wednesday's game will be one of only two home games in the month of November. The Purple Eagles are back on the road for three straight contests before hosting Youngstown State on November 28.

Leading Man• Sophomore guard
Matt Scott has led Niagara in scoring and in rebounding in the first two games.
• Scott has led the team in both categories in a game for only the second time in his career.
• Scott scored 19 points and grabbed eight rebounds at Old Dominion in the season opener and netted 14 points and had eight rebounds at Saint Joseph's. The eight rebounds are a career-high.

Justin Satchell has scored in double figures and grabbed at least six rebounds in both games.
• Satchell, a transfer from St. Petersburg College, scored 12 points and had seven rebounds in the opener, and 13 points and six rebounds at Saint Joseph's.
• Satchell, who started in both games, is shooting 45 percent from the field and 50 percent (5-for-10) from the 3-point line.
On The CourtBrown Bears (1-1/0-0 Ivy League)• Brown is anchored by senior and two-time Ivy League Defensive Player of the Year Cedric Kuakumensah, who has recorded double-doubles in both games this season.
• Kuakumensah has recorded Brown's three highest individual single-season blocked shot totals, including an Ivy League record 93 in 2013-14, and is 12 blocked shots away from tying Brian Gilpin's (Dartmouth, 1993-97) Ivy League record of 252 career blocked shots.
• Kuakumensah, Steven Spieth, Tavon Blackmon, JR Hobbie and Corey Daugherty are all averaging double-digit scoring figures on the season.
