The Niagara softball team leaves Monteagle Ridge to square off against Lehigh with back-to-back doubleheaders, first on March 23 then again on March 24 beginning at 12 p.m. both days.

Lehigh (7-7-1) is 3-3 in its last six games, dropping both games of a doubleheader to Pennsylvania on Wednesday. Since 2003, the Purple Eagles (3-12) are 6-10 against the Mountain Hawks. Niagara last faced Lehigh on March 26, 2011, splitting a doubleheader after taking the first game 8-1 before dropping the second, 6-4.

Junior transfer Jennifer Sansano (3-5) leads Niagara on the mound with a team-high 2.68 ERA while striking out 47 batters in as many innings.

Junior Brittany Richberg has started all 15 games for the Purple Eagles, leading the team with 12 hits and five successfully stolen bases. Senior Becky Zill leads all Niagara batters with six RBIs and has a batting-average of .333 over the last four games.
