Broadcast Schedule
NIAGARA UNIV, N.Y. – The Niagara University Department of Athletics and Time Warner Cable SportsChannel have announced the hockey, men's basketball and women's basketball TV schedule for the 2013-14 season.
Hockey and men's and women's basketball will appear on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel (TWCS) a total of 11 times for customers in the Buffalo/Niagara and Rochester area.
"Partnering with Time Warner Sports is a tremendous asset for Niagara University and the Department of Athletics," said Interim Director of Athletics
Steve Butler. "The partnership allows our games to be broadcasted throughout the state of New York. That being said, we have the ability to reach the homes of our many alumni and prospective students."
The first men's basketball game to appear on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel is when the Purple Eagles host Siena on Friday, Dec. 6 at 7 p.m. TWCS will air a doubleheader from the Gallagher Center on Saturday, Dec. 21 beginning with a women's basketball contest versus Big 4 rival Buffalo at 1 p.m. followed by the men's team taking on Little 3 rival St. Bonaventure at 5 p.m.
Hockey's next appearance on TWCS is scheduled for Saturday Dec. 14 at 7 p.m. when the Purple Eagles play against RIT as part of the outdoor hockey festival to be held at Frontier Field in Rochester, N.Y.
