NIAGARA UNIV., N.Y. - Due to yesterday's rain and inclement weather in Tuesday's forecast, the Niagara softball team's scheduled single game against Syracuse has been cancelled.

The game between the two in-state rivals will not be made up.

The Purple Eagles are back in action in a Battle of the Bridge doubleheader, taking on cross-town rival Canisius at Niagara Field, beginning at 3 p.m.
