NIAGARA UNIV., N.Y. – The Niagara women’s swimming team was defeated by Duquesne, 134-71, at the Oxy Aquatic Center on Friday evening.
“Our women came to race tonight and put up some very strong performances,” said head coach
Ben Nigro. “I am pleased with where we are at this time of year.”
Junior
Aubrey Kettrick took home first place in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 25.32. She also earned top honors in the 500 yard freestyle, clocking in at 5:24.10. Kettrick and teammates

Erica Crane, and
Lindsey Jackson finished second in the 400 yard medley relay with a time of 4:10.16.
Senior
Kaley Pfohl placed first in the 1000 yard freestyle, finishing the event in a time of 11:15.35. The 200 yard freestyle team of
Ashley Harrington,
Emily Kisloski,
Katie Metcalf and
Chelsea O'Laughlin earned a second place finish, clocking in at 1:45.16.
The women are back in the pool tomorrow when they take on Vermont in the Oxy Aquatic Center. The meet is set to begin at 11 a.m.
